The date is set and plans are already underway for the next "Runnin & Strummin" Legion Park Music Festival. Set Saturday, September 28 aside for some fun and entertainment. We have some new plans in the works that we will reveal over the coming months.Last year was a great start in spite of disagreeing weather. "Bigger n Better" coming for 2019!! This year's music will feature Gospel, Bluegrass, Folk, Country, Mississippi Blues and Classic Rock!!
There will be a public Jam Session at the end of festivities, A Dulcimer Group, Craft Vendors and Food of all kinds--- And of course, we will start off with the annual 5K Race/Walk!!
There couldn't be a better setting than Legion State Park with a wonderful shaded venue "In The Pines' and of course the historic and acoustically unique CCC Lodge!
Lots of kids events including a Native American Storyteller, free cane flutes for the kids and educational programs from the National Wild Turkey Federation and our local Extension Office.
