We invite vocalist and instrumentalist to our Music Festival in which we will be spotlighting old fashion entertainment with vocals. We will be
featuring bluegrass, country, folk, mountain and Delta Blues…and invite vocal, guitar, banjo, dulcimer, string bass and mandolin musicians for an incredible day of music in a beautiful setting, Legion State Park.
And, those of you that are runners, we start our day off with a 5 K run at 10:00 AM!
Musicians will play from 10 AM - throughout the day. At each venue we expect to have 3-4 main groups that will play 30-45 minute
sessions. Shorter performances (10-15 minutes) and jamming will fill in the remaining time.
The finale will start at 4:30 PM at the Amphitheater overlooking the Big Lake where our musicians will close out our celebration.

Tucked in thick forests and rolling hills, Legion State Park consists of over 420 acres of forest, two small lakes and a handful of wellpreserved depression-era structures including a beautiful rustic lodge. The park has offered an outdoor escape for Mississippians for 81 years.

Our historic Lodge, built by Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and
opened in 1937, will be the location of several venues.
